Ban Appeal Information

If you have failed to follow our regulations, and have either been banned from our Discord server or community, you will be given a chance to appeal. Refer to the application below to continue our ban appeal process.

Grammar is not required, but your answers must be understandable. Detail is also key — lacking detail is a reason to be declined as well.

Keep these in mind while completing the application:

Use grammar at all times throughout this appeal.
Remain and show professional behavior.
Write in detail; include at least 2-3 sentences per question asked.

These are some things we will not allow you to appeal for:

If you have been previously told by a staff member that your ban is unappealable, avoid filling out the form.
Constantly asking about the status of your appeal may result in it being auto-declined.
Being dishonest on your application (lying about something) will most likely get your appeal denied.

We are always looking for dedicated members to join our staff team and furthermore assist our community. As a staff member, you'll play a big role in ensuring our sessions are organized as well as our community itself.

Please be able to answer all questions with honesty and integrity, put forth your best responses, utilize grammar within the entirety of the application. Aim for accuracy and provide as much detail as possible.

Failure to abide by any of our regulations listed, will result in an immediate denial. Leaking your responses to anyone will result in you being blacklisted from all our facilities. If you have any inquiries regarding this application, feel free to DM any Administrator+.

Server Regulations

01 | Toxicity

We aim to keep this community a safe environment for all our members. Excessive toxicity or continuing arguments/drama after being asked to stop within this server will not be tolerated. You can receive a verbal warning or be muted for one hour. Death threats will be an automatic punishment.

02 | NSFW

NSFW content is prohibited here. Refrain from posting any nudity or explicit content. You will be immediately banned. This includes discussing NSFW topics. Less severe NSFW content such as inappropriate context will be given a warning before a ban is issued.

03 | Channel Usage

You should be using the appropriate channels at all times. If you are asked to move your conversation to the appropriate channel you must do so or you will be moderated.

04 | Slurs

Slurring is not allowed in this server. Slurs are never acceptable. If you are caught using any kind of slurs or bypassing slurs you will be automatically given a strike and will be muted whether you have permission to reclaim the slur or not.

05 | Advertising

Any form of advertising in this server is strictly prohibited. This is not a place for you to recruit members. If we receive proof of you attempting to advertise your group you will be kicked and, if continued, banned.

06 | Spamming

Spamming of any sort is not allowed. Sending duplicate messages, images, emojis, @mentions, etc is punishable. This includes walls of text (8+ lines).

07 | Leaking

Exposing someone’s personal information will automatically result in a termination from Hawaii State Roleplay. This includes leaking photos, IP, addresses, full names, phone numbers, etc. Any sensitive information that was not yet publicly said by the individual.

08 | Suspicious Links

Anyone who posts suspicious links or attempts to IP grab any individuals within the server will lead to your message being deleted and an immediate ban.

10 | Common Sense

Common sense plays a big role; you should be utilizing common sense at all times. It will be necessary if you would like to stay in the community. Staff members have the right to ban you for any reason that was not listed as long as it is a proper reasoning.

01 | Random Death Match (RDM)

Randomly killing a user without a proper reason will result in a moderator giving you a warning. If a staff is hurt or killed, it will result in a kick instead.

02 | Vehicle Death Match (VDM)

Randomly shooting at a user's car without a proper reason or ramming into a user's car without a reason will result in a moderator giving you a warning.

03 | Realistic Avatars

Every member roleplaying must have a realistic avatar; this will help maintain realism.

04 | Fail Roleplay (FRP)

If a user does anything within a roleplay that is impossible or unrealistic in real life, a moderator will give a warning.

05 | New Life Rule (NLR)

New Life Rule means that when a user's character is killed, they must forget everything due to that being their past life.

06 | Cuff Rush

Cuff Rushing is when a user on the police team doesn't say -cuffs- or -detains- before cuffing someone. If a user fails to say this before they cuff a user, they will be warned.

07 | Cop Baiting

Cop baiting is when a user decides to intentionally grab the police officer's attention to cause a scene. This is unrealistic in real life so a moderator will warn the user.

08 | Priority Timer

When a priority timer has begun all members must not engage in illegal activities such as robbing/killing/pursuits during this time. If caught doing so, a moderator will warn the user.

09 | Pursuits

In a pursuit, the cop must have a valid reason to start chasing after the subject. If caught not having a reason for the pursuit, the user shall be warned by a moderator.

10 | Trolling

Trolling within a session will result in a warning or kick, depending on the severity.

11 | Tool Abuse

Using tools for no valid reason or within an unrealistic manner will result in a warning.

12 | Autojail

Jailing someone on the spot or without proper roleplay will result in a warning. Note: If the suspect denies detain, you are allowed to autojail.

13 | Leaving To Avoid Punishment (LTAP)

Leaving during a modscene to avoid being given a punishment will result in a Ban-BOLO or immediate ban.

14 | Usage of Whitelisted Items

Using whitelisted stuff without being whitelisted will result in a warning by a moderator and you will have to change your items.
